#REAL is #933

The REAL Program exists to improve literacy

Retired teachers and other professionals mentor high school and college students who mentor elementary school aged children. We often have younger siblings, parents, grand parents, cousins and more who want to learn English or who want to help in any way they can. We work with the children for 2 hours a day for 2 days a week at the Boys and Girls Club of Lynn from 3:00-5:00 for 20 weeks of the year. We work with the children at Congregation Ahabat Sholom from the nearby Brickett School for 27 weeks of the year for 5-8 hours per week. We give them care, attention, respect, books, homework help, modeling, food, snacks, enrichment opportunities and a sense that we are all one community. This is #REAL. Please join us at our first #REAL fundraiser called A REAL NIGHT OUT on Saturday, 10/25 from 6:00-10:00 at Glen Urquhart School, 74 Hart St., Beverly To learn about The REAL Program and how you can help please visit www.therealprogram.org THANK YOU
